Danielle Pomeroy, MSW, RSW, is a dynamic guest speaker in the GTA who facilitates workshops through storytelling, reflection, and interaction. Sessions are designed to feel supportive and genuinely useful to those in attendance, as she has a unique ability to connect with people where they are at.

Danielle’s clinical experience reflects her work in direct clinical practice, post‑secondary education, and over 11 years as a social worker in a civilian role within a police service, where she also worked as a trainer at the service and regional levels. Her facilitation experience spans children’s mental health, outreach, detention centres, post‑secondary settings, corporate workplaces, and youth leadership groups.

With a specialization in course development and instructional design, Danielle tailors presentations to the specific needs of diverse audiences, including corporate groups, wellness teams, youth groups, leadership groups, and classroom settings. Completion of a Teacher Effectiveness training further enhances her understanding of how people learn, which she brings into highly interactive and engaging sessions. Across workplaces, schools, and community organizations, Danielle focuses on translating complex topics into practical tools that people can apply in their daily lives.

An Interactive Approach to Learning

While one-way presentations in a lecture-style format can be informative, passive learning rarely creates lasting understanding or change. Today’s learners benefit most from approaches that go beyond listening to actively engaging with ideas in real time. As an experienced educator and mental health guest speaker in Toronto, Danielle leaves the lecture format behind in favour of creating space for meaningful conversations and self-reflection among participants.
